"Emerging Leaders" Internship Application

The Emerging Leaders Internship Program requires a commitment of 10–15 hours per week, with opportunities for additional hours as they become available.

If selected for the program, work schedules will be provided on a biweekly basis (every two weeks).

Key Responsibilities:

Sort and organize donated items such as clothing, hygiene products, and household supplies.

Assemble resource kits (example: hygiene kits, baby kits, food boxes) for community distribution

Load and unload trucks of donated and rescued resources

Assist with the distribution of resources during community events and pantry days

Help load vehicles for partner organizations and distribution sites

Keep warehouse spaces clean, organized, and safe

Assist with inventory tracking and restocking supplies

Prepare materials and kits for upcoming events and distributions

Support packing parties and volunteer groups during warehouse activities

Follow safety guidelines and proper lifting techniques (must be able to lift up to 50 lbs)

Work as part of a team to complete daily goals and tasks
